Project > THE RIG < Part One

This is by far the most complex project that ever came through my mind. I plan to build a RIG that would allow me to install and test any type of motherboard - ATX, MiniATX or MicroATX.

Where to get Windows ISO files?

I got asked this question so many times - where to get a ISO file of Windows without breaking the law? The most important thing is that having a burned copy of Windows install disc is not a crime - using unregistered, not activated copy of Windows is! So let's get down to it and find the best source of Windows ISO files!

Cheapest PC - (DX9) - Polish Online Shopping

One day i got that crazy idea - what is the possible cheapest PC i can build using only parts that i order online from our local online market Allegro.pl (something like ebay, but works mostly for polish users). The main idea was to make it run Windows 7 and play some of the current games like League of Legend or Counter Strike: Global Offensive and the best DirectX 9 single player games. I know it sounds crazy, but i set the budget to be under 50,00 $!

_HELLO WORLD!

As every new code in programming welcomes you with this simple message i'd  like to start my new blog with:

HELLO WORLD!

My head is full of ideas and i'd like to share them with you! The idea is to play around with PC hardware and software - assembly PC's, overclock them, benchmark, compare, test - EVERYTHING! I'm just a big fan of PC equipement and i'm very excited to see (for example) - what would it look like to put RGB lights into Pentium II / GeForce MX400 PC? Or how much can i overclock old nVidia Riva TNT2 GPU before it start to get artifacts?

My first project is going to be the cheapest  PC (usable with Windows 7/10) i can build using polish online shopping. I'm gonna use both PLN and US$ to show you how amazingly cheap hardware in Poland can be!
